11. Facebook / Meta Integration
When you connect a Facebook Ads account to Mind Artists Journey, you authorize our app through Facebook Login to access specific data on your behalf. This section explains what we receive from Meta, how we use it, and how you can revoke access.
Permissions we request
During Facebook Login we request the following permissions:
ads_management — to read and manage ad campaigns, ad sets, and ads in the Meta Ad accounts you connect.
ads_read — to read ad performance metrics (Impressions, Reach, Clicks, Conversions, Spend, etc.) from the Meta Marketing API.
business_management — to identify which Business Manager and Ad accounts you have access to.
pages_show_list and pages_read_engagement — to associate ads with the Facebook Pages you manage.
What data we store
A long-lived (60-day) Facebook access token, scoped to the brand you connected.
Your Facebook user ID (used solely to honor Data Deletion Callbacks).
The Meta Ad Account ID and Pixel ID associated with your brand.
Aggregated ad performance metrics imported from the Marketing API for reporting in your dashboard.
How we use it
We use this data only to (a) display ad performance dashboards inside Mind Artists Journey, and (b) execute ad-management actions you initiate — creating, cloning, pausing, or updating campaigns and ad sets. We do not sell or share Facebook-derived data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising outside Mind Artists Journey.
How to revoke access and delete your data
You can revoke our app's access to your Facebook account at any time:
Disconnect from inside Mind Artists Journey at Settings → Facebook Ads → Disconnect.
Or remove our app from your Facebook account at facebook.com/settings/apps. When you remove the app there, Meta sends us a Data Deletion Callback and we delete the corresponding records automatically.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be effective upon posting, and continued use of our Services indicates your acceptance of the updated policy. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
